Testimonials from our audience and supporters

  • "If this is what opera was always like, I’d be an opera fan."

  • "We pretty much decided we'd go to any show AOT produces from this point on. Thank you for the art!"

  • "I wanted to express gratitude for all that AOT is doing. My undergraduate experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth regarding opera. I was made to feel that opera was not a place for me, and I did not resonate with the stories being told. AOT is shifting this narrative, and not only producing art with integrity and mindfulness, but creating spaces for artistic growth, for social justice, and for empowerment."

  • "We proudly support AOT's mission of inclusivity at all levels! We are excited to watch the organization grow, and can't wait to bring our son Odys to his first opera in a few years!"—George Mills & Barclay Woodbury with future opera fan Odys

  • "We support AOT because their work, mission promote inclusivity, and love are its forefront."—ulie & Jerrald Spencer, with AOT mini fans Mari and Zuri

  • "I am happy to be supporting AOT, an innovative, creative and scrappy new opera company. Their focus on programming that is relevant and thought provoking makes them an important addition to the art world in the Twin Cities. Their goal to expand the traditional role opera companies play is innovative and intriguing and their partnerships with other nonprofits expands their impact. They are deserving of our support!"—Chris Park
