Celebrate teachers across the country with #AOT4Teachers!

In the Midst of Things: In Medias Res serves as our Spring educational program, premiering at 15 schools! This opera is shot as a Zoom class, complete with distractions, disruptive "teens", a teacher breakdown, and learning moments. IMR is a “Thank You” to all the teachers who have continued to show up for their students, and as recognition of the hard work students have put into their studies during a tumultuous year.

And boy do we have many teachers, educators, and students to share gratitude with. Throughout the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing stories from our artists and production team about the teachers that have shaped their lives.
